British Expat Mortgages for UK Ex pats in Abu Dhabi

UK expat mortgages in Abu Dhabi are a specialist area at Capital Fortune. 

Whilst the availability of British finance  is increasingly restricted and despite many of the main UK lenders having fully withdrawn from offering mortgages for expatriates to people living in Abu Dhabi, there does remain a number of highly competitive deals and interest rates on expat mortgage products. Generally, the people we assist are paid in local currency dirhams or other foreign denominations such as Swiss francs and dollars. They are usually employed or self employed and often do not have their foreign salary paid into a UK bank or savings account to facilitate paying the expat mortgage. Abu Dhabi banks can however be used to make the international payment necessary to pay the mortgage each month be this for residential home loans or mortgages for expats buy to let. These can be raised on a capital repayment basis or if you prefer we do have options offering a mortgage interest only. Expat clients can choose which they prefer.

Clients we assist are largely non-UK tax payers given they are not domiciled for tax purposes and this poses difficulties when obtaining British finance. We offer mortgages for expats UK-wide and whilst choice is limited, there remain some highly competitive mortgages. UK expat clients tend not to have a strong domestic credit history, usually because they have been out of Britain for some time and as a result tend to fail lenders automated credit scoring systems. They usually come to us having been rejected by their bank or have spoken with other UK brokers who either cannot assist or who have offered them expensive expat mortgage rates.

The ex pat mortgages we arrange have no maximum loan size but we do have to be clear that we are unable to assist with smaller loans below £50,000 UK Sterling.
